History

April 1887 Daizo Kajita(the 1st) established a weaving mill on the present location, and begun to
manufacture and sell hemp clothes. Later on he built more mills one by one, and changed to
manufacturing of Husuma(Japanese sliding door) paper.
March 1912 According to the high speed growth of Husuma paper he expanded mills,
and sold goods under the trade name"Miyako"which gained the highest output all over Japan.
December 1947 Daizo KajitaⅢchanged his private management into company organization,
and established Kajita Textile Co.,Ltd. wth the capital of ¥195,000.
November 1950 The trade name was changed into Kajita Daizo Shop Co.,Ltd..The capital was increased to
¥500,000.
Octover 1958 Being provided with special yarn solely from Toyo Rayon Co.,Ltd., manufactured and sold goods
as the trade name of Tore Wall Cloth and Husuma paper.
March 1965 The trade name was changed into Kajita Industrial Co.,Ltd..
December 1967 Kajita Interior Co., Ltd. was established by becoming independent of sales sections of Tokyo and Osaka branches.
December 1969 Certificated as the Standard Fireproofing Factory by the Ministry of Construction and
the Wallcoverings Association Of Japan.
August 1978 Certificated as the factory of indicating JIS by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry.
March 1980 Erimo Industrial Co.,Ltd. was established, taking over all business affairs of Kajita Industrial
Co.,Ltd.., and put back trade rights.
September 1980 Masahiro Kajita was installed as the representative director.
March 1988 The theme of study ""Removable adhesive form sheets "" was given Kyoto Prefecture
Subvention for Medium and Small-sized Enterprises Technical Inprovement.
March 1993 The theme of study ""Antibacterial coated wallpaper "" was given Kyoto Prefecture Subvention
for Medium and Small-sized Enterprises Technical Inprovement.
December 1994 Decoration sheet and its manufacturing method"applied for a patent No.9410141
March 1996 The theme of study ""Inorganic painting finish wallcovering "" was given Kyoto Prefecture
Subvention for Medium and Small-sized Enterprises Technical Inprovement.
September 1998 Certificated by ISO9002;1994(International Orgnaization for Standardization)
September 2005 Certificated by ISO9001;2000(International Orgnaization for Standardization)
May 2008 Certificated of new JIS(JIS A 6921 Wallpaper) by General Building Research Corporation
Of Japan..
December 2013 Withdrew from ISO9001 certification regisration
June 2014 As former representative director Masahiro Kajita died of illness, Yoshiyuki Nakamura was installed as the new representative director.
